![]() Tom BellPower Generation, Construction Equipment
Starting with Allis Chalmers and transitioning to Dover Corporation, Tom has been involved in a variety of M&A projects: As President of AC-Compressor, revenues were more than doubled through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. In 2001, the company was sold to GE Power Systems for a significant capital gain, and GE went on to build further on the solid business base. As Vice President and CFO of Dover Diversified, a $1 Billion operating group of Dover Corporation, Tom negotiated and managed several acquisitions and divestitures, including the 1999 divestiture of Pathway Bellows to Senior Plc for a capital gain to Dover and a synergistic base at Senior. At Crenlo, a manufacturer of operator cabs for construction and agricultural equipment, Tom managed a turn around that improved margins from zero to double digits along with dramatic improvements in inventory turns and on-time delivery. Tom earned a BBA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. |
