Acquisition Prospect Development (APD)

Clarity works with your clearly defined acquisition criteria to identify and profile prospects that you might otherwise have overlooked.

As part of this investigation, we often contact the owner to elicit his or her preliminary attitude toward selling. By characterizing the inquiry as specific to clearly described attributes of the prospect and stated aspects of the client's acquisition criteria, Clarity is often able to elicit details such as the owner's preferred valuation model, management retention objectives, and other considerations that impact the client's assessment of the opportunity.

Acquisition Due Diligence

Clarity has produced over 50 acquisition due diligence studies. In many of these cases, our guidance discouraged a GO decision. Whenever a deal is completed, the Clarity due diligence study becomes a post acquisition business development resource.

Acquisition Integration

Many acquisitions are justified on the basis of synergies. An incomplete understanding of how market factors will impact these synergies can create problems during the integration phase and beyond. Clarity evaluates market oriented elements of your integration plan during the due diligence process. We add a measure of confidence that your basic justifications for the deal are valid — before the deal is completed. Moving forward, we can work with your integration team on more finely detailed aspects of the plan.
