Bill Overell provides executive level financial consulting services. Typical engagements include serving as interim CFO, providing advice to boards & CEOs, funding assistance and strategic partnerships, M&A due diligence and integration, and personnel recruitment and development.

Before becoming a financial consultant, Bill was was senior vice president & CFO of PayMyBills.com, responsible for overseeing financial planning & reporting, asset management and acquisitions. PayMyBills.com, which merged with Paytrust, was a venture backed leading e-finance bill management service that empowered consumers to receive, review, pay and file all of their bills in one convenient on-line location.

Bill joined PayMyBills.com from Software Technologies Corporation (STC; now SeeBeyond Technologies), where he served as vice president, finance & CFO for this IPO bound enterprise application integration solution provider.

Prior to his tenure at STC, Bill served as senior vice president, finance & CFO of Insurance Auto Auctions, managing finance and information systems and human resource functions for this NASDAQ listed company. As a CFO, Bill has developed business models and planning & control systems and closed over $100M of equity and debt financing and $300M of M&A transactions.

Prior positions include CFO for Gamma Microwave, vice president at Spectra-Physics and senior consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.

Bill earned a BS in mathematics and computer science from Purdue University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Stanford-NASDAQ Directors College, vice chairman of the Financial Executives International (FEI) National Committee on Finance and Information Technology.
