While Clarity is not an expert in succession planning, we do understand the challenges. Well over half of family businesses today expect a leadership change by 2013. Only about 30% of family businesses survive into the second generation – and this percentage is declining as the Baby Boom demographics take shape.

Clarity is always available to consult with Business Owners about their near and medium term objectives for the business. Perhaps after a testing the Clarity Buyer Pool or completing certain Business Grooming activities, you will adopt a greater resolve to keep the business in the family. Or perhaps you already know that your preference is to maintain family ownership status but need some help to manage the tax implications. Clarity will work within our skillset based on your objectives and where appropriate recommend one of our business partners for family business consulting.
